Miss Tourism Rwenzori 2018

Masika Doreen, a secondary school teacher in Kasese, emerged the overall winner at the Miss Tourism Rwenzori region finals held at Uhuru Gardens on Saturday. The 23-year-old exuded a lot of confidence and vibrancy beating the nine other contestants to the coveted crown.

Muhindo Peace, a S.6 vacist who was the first runner-up and Kahunde Doreen, a 2nd year student at Makerere University who was second runner-up will join Masika to represent the Rwenzori region at the Miss Tourism grand finale which will be held this October in Kampala.

The crowning night was all about having knowledge about tourist attractions in the Rwenzori region and showcasing individual talent and skill. All the contestants walked away with gift hampers courtesy of Radiant.
