Deception a popular drama series that has been airing on NTV has finally come to an end. Well, not for long as shooting for the next season is anticipated to begin soon. Fans of the popular TV show will now have to turn their attention to something else in the mean time as they await the second season.
Deception tries to portray the challenges faced by newlyweds as they try to juggle between the ever growing family and work demands. As more pressure is mounted on them to bear kids, it leaves them edgy as the once home beautiful home slowly turns into a living hell.
The series was centred on the life of a young married couple trying to suppress the growing demand by their parents to give them a grandchild.
In the series, when Mama Nalweyiso abandons her home to come and stay with her son, Chris and the wife Monica, unending drama ensues as she constantly nags the daughter-in-law for a grandchild.
The producers of the show are promising their fan base a more thrilling and exciting season with a twist in the plot creating more suspense that will leave them yearning for the next episode every other time it airs.
Meanwhile, in the wake of the news, Pretty Katende who was acting as Lilian in the TV drama took to her facebook timeline to thank her fans for the continued love and support. She posted: “To all ma deception lovely fans u going to mis me for some time till the next season bt I hav to say thanks so much for love u hav d love and kumpagila all dis long bt don’t lose it all we are still with u a lot is still coming bless.”
