VipersSports Club Vipers will face a tough test when they take on SC Victoria University on Friday in a FUFA Super League tie at the Buikwe Stadium.

Fresh from holding defending champions KCCA FC to a 2-2 draw early this week, the SC Victoria University team have vowed to play their hearts out against the table leaders.

“We are taking this game very seriously because we need to improve our placing on the log,” said coach Morley Byekwaso, whose University side is fourth on the standings.

But Edward Golola, the SC Vipers coach, has said his team is taking one game at a time as they battle to keep top position.

“I am happy that we are getting better and better and hopefully we keep winning our games,” added Golola.

Second-placed URA FC will also hope that they beat SC Villa and keep their fingers crossed that SC Vipers fail to register a win. The former League champions URA FC are only a point behind SC Vipers at 39 points.

Coach Kefa Kisala’s Bidco, who are placed sixth on the log, will also hope to pick maximum points when they host Police FC, while Express take on army side Simba.

The other three games on the card will see Bright Stars face defending champions KCCA, while Proline take on Soana and Kiira Young travel to Masaka Town to face Masaka LC.
