SC Villa to face off with Morocco’s FUS Rabat in CAF Confederations Cup

The evening of Friday 18th March was a moment of celebrations for Sports Club Villa after they knocked out Zanzibar’s JKU on a 5-0 aggregate over two legs that followed 4-0 and 1-0 wins at home and away respectively.

The Jogoos will now face off with Morocco’s FUS Rabat in the next round of the CAF Confederations Cup. The Moroccan side eliminated Cameroon’s US Loum on a 3-2 aggregate to book a date with SC Villa.

According to the Jogoos’ website, the two sides will meet around 6th May 2016 in Morocco before facing off again in the return leg in Kampala on 17th or 18th May 2016.

FUS Rabat short profile:

Full name: FATH UNION SPORT DE RABAT (FUS Rabat)

Home ground: Stade du FUS (Hay Nahda) found in the city of Rabat with a capacity of 15000.

League: Plays in the topflight of the Moroccan league and are currently second on the log.
