After ending a six-year trophy drought, Uganda’s most successful club Sports Club Villa will celebrate their Uganda Cup victory on Saturday, 20th June 2015.

The victory party will be held at Villa Park, Nsambya starting at 2pm until the birds awaken those sleeping.

Early this week, on Tuesday, the Jogoos thrashed KCCA FC 3-0 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in the Uganda Cup final replay to lift their 9th title of the annual competition. Indeed the victory calls for a celebration which the club president passionately speaks about.

“The celebrations shall start as early as 2pm till dawn, punctuated by nonstop entertainment, drinks and eats. There are 10 bulls and several goats on the menu with a special package for the vegetarians. There is also another executive party for the players and our partners that will be held at the end of June at the UMA Show grounds,” SC Villa President Eng. Ben Misagga told Kawowo.

Villa will consider the 2014/2015 season a success after being crowned the 2015 Uganda Cup champions despite failure to win the Azam Uganda Premier League but managed to finish second on the 16-team log.
