SC Villa suffer second defeat as they conclude their Vietnam tour

Sports Club Villa suffered their second defeat on Tuesday as they concluded their Vietnam tour. The Jogoos lost 1-0 to Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito’s Quang Ninh on Wednesday to mark their second defeat of the tour, having lost their first on Monday by 2-1 against Da Nang.

The Blues played seven matches on the 10-day tour, winning three, drawing two and losing two. They managed to score 14 goals and concede eight in the process.

The Shafik Bisaso-coached side had seven different goal scorers on the tour that was meant to give the players some exposure, namely; Ibrahim Kiyemba, Dennis Kamanzi, Umar Kasumba, Abdulmalick Vitalis Tabu, Patrick Mbowa, Alex Kitata and Tadeo Lwanga.

They are expected to set off from Vietnam on Wednesday at around 7:35 p.m. and arrive in the country at Entebbe International Airport on Thursday at around 2 p.m.

Tuesday 22nd: Binh Duong 2- 4 SC Villa
Wednesday 23rd: Dong Tam Long An 1-1 SC Villa
Friday 25th: Khanh Hoa 0-3 SC Villa
Saturday 26th: Long An 2-2 SC Villa
Sunday 27th: Khanh Hoa 0-3 SC Villa
Monday 28th: Da Nang 2-1 SC Villa
Tuesday 29th: Quang Ninh 1-0 SC Villa
