SC Villa was held to a goalless draw by army side Simba SC on Tuesday evening.
Despite all efforts, both sides fired blanks at the Bombo Military Stadium in the only fixture played that day in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
The result elevated the Jogoos to 7th place on the log with 25 points displacing Soana FC on similar points as Villa has a better goal difference.
On the other hand, Simba’s poor goal difference kept them second from bottom on the 16 team table with only 14 points.
The league continues on Friday with a single fixture in which Police FC will entertain Sports Club Victoria University (SC VU) at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
