SC Villa are in a silent chase for the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) crown.
Following their humiliating exit from the continental CAF Confederations Cup and a week later from the Uganda Cup, the Jogoos have since turned their focus to the league title.
In their silent title chase, Villa have so far won three games in a row beating Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) 4-0 before dismissing Lweza FC on Tuesday last week with a 3-1 beating and on Saturday defeating Bul FC by 2-0 thanks to goals by Dennis Kamanzi and Umar Kasumba.
The Blues are currently 10th on the league table with 36 points from 21 games and 16 points behind leaders KCCA FC with 6 games in-hand which if all won puts them to 54 points, two more than the Kasasiro Boys.
SC Villa entertain league debutants The Saints FC who are still four points from relegation safety.
