Sports Club Villa will return home without anything to show to their fans despite their unbeaten run at the StarTimes Christmas Cup tournament in Kigali, Rwanda.

The Jogoos traveled last week to Kigali following an invitation to take part in the Star-Times Christmas Cup which they choose to use as a buildup for their forth coming participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Villa managed three draws in three games played at the tournament with the opener being a one-all draw against Kiyovu Football Club and then followed by 2-2 consecutive draws against Rayon Sports and Gicumbi Football Club.

The results saw the Blues finish third with just three points hence failed to progress to the next stage of the competition.

Rayon Sports finished top of Pool A with 7points while Kiyovu FC finished second with 4points.

From Pool B AS Kigali advanced after topping the group followed by Mukura Football Club.

The semi-finals are on today with A.S Kigali entertaining Kiyovu while Rayon Sports will face off with Mukura Football Club.
