After unveiling 11 new players on Tuesday as the club showcased their 2016/2017 season squad, Sport Club Villa has secured the services of Ibrahim Kiyemba from Lweza Football Club, making him their 12th signing of the transfer window.

The Lweza skipper now becomes the 4th player to leave the club after Geoffrey Sserunkuma who reunited with the league champions KCCA FC, Ayub Kisaliita who left to join SC Villa and Yusuf. The versatile defender (can play both central defence and right back) becomes the 3rd player to cross from the Kajjansi based club straight to the Jogoos’ camp after sensational midfielder Mike Sserumaga and Ayub Kisaliita.

SC Villa’s new players: Benard Muwanga (from Bright Stars), Ayub Kisaliita (Lweza), Joseph Nsubuga (Bright Stars), Yasin Mugabi (KCCA FC), Michael Owinya (Kyambogo University), Edward Kawooya (Kapeeka Black Bufaloes), Francis Mayiga (Busiro Ssaza), Swalidad Muhammed (All Stars, Arua), Vitalis Tabu (Onduparaka), Ali Magomu Okitto (Junior side graduate) and Alex Ssemuyaba (Busujju Ssaza) and Ibrahim Kiyemba.
