Uganda’s most famous soccer club, Sports Club Villa will have its officials entertain the club’s fans tomorrow (2nd December) at their former home grounds at Nakivubo in a friendly match. The 16-time record champions will have the club’s officials take on the fans in a get together and friendly game before SC Villa take on the ex-internationals.
The man at the club’s helm, Eng. Ben Immanuel Misagga, will be responsible for holding the arm-band of the Villa officials while on the opposite side, Samson ‘Miracle’ Nsubuga will lead the fans.
“It will be our turn to show the fans that apart from administering, we are also good at playing football. So, they should come ready for a battle,” reads a post on the club’s official Facebook page.
The fans are also eager to put the legs of their officials to a test. “We have been training for a while; we are just waiting for the kick-off whistle,” Nsubuga spoke on behalf of the fans.
The promisingly entertaining encounter has been organized in a bid to raise funds that will help in running the club. The club also calls upon whoever wants to play for the fans’ team to call the numbers provided 0752-513-398, 0772-513-398 and 0702-513-398.
