SC villa officials entertained the club’s fans in a friendly game at Nakivubo stadium that ended in a goalless draw.

In the other game on the afternoon, SC Villa humiliated the former Uganda Cranes’ players (Ex-internationals) in an 11-0 thriller.

David Bagole and Erisa Ssekisambu, all came through with hat-tricks while Nigeria’s Victor Emenayo netted twice as SC Villa sent the ex-internationals back to the football academy. Hassan Wasswa, Moses Gaale and Ronald Muganga also made it to the score board for SC Villa.

SC Villa head coach Sam Simbwa used the opportunity to send a warning to his next opponents, Simba FC, in the Uganda premier League that they should come well prepared to face his firing squad.

“I am happy with the result. No one should underestimate these guys (Ex-Internationals). They played soccer and they understand the game. So, winning today puts us in a great shape to face Simba on Friday. There is no turning back and our opponents should know that,” he said.

U-17 head coach, Matia Lule, Ibrahim Buwembo, James Odoch, Muhamoud Kateregga and Ibrahim Kirya (SC Villa assistant coach) were some of the ex-internationals that embraced the match.
