The highly anticipated clash between Sports Club Villa and their arch rivals Express FC that was slated for today afternoon was called off following a heavy down pour  that left the pitch flooded.

Dubbed the Kampala derby, the highly anticipated Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) match was to be played at the heart of Kampala at Nakivubo stadium where the Jogoos were eagerly waiting to take on the Red Eagles but the pitch was flooded hence the game was postponed.

Efforts by the stadium management to pump out the water, trying to get it ready for the game were fruitless by the match-day kick off time which had been set for 4:30pm and therefore the match could not be played.

The league continues tomorrow (Saturday 31st, October) with a count of six matches across the country.

Saturday Fixtures; All games kick off at 4:00pm
