Uganda’s representatives at the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup, Sports Club Villa yesterday ejected Zanzibar’s JKU to advance to the next stage of the competition.

The Jogoos have beaten JKU on their own turf at the Amman Stadium in Zanzibar by 1-0 thanks to Ambrose Kirya’s only strike.

The Blues beat the same opponents by 4-0 in the first leg of the first round played at Namboole Stadium last weekend before Friday’s reverse fixture.

The result implies that Villa has progressed to the next stage of the tournament on a 5-0 aggregated.

They will now meet either Morocco’s FUS Rabat or Cameroon’s US Loum who played to one-all draw in their first meeting. The two sides meet again on Saturday 19th March to decide who progresses to face off with the Jogoos at the next stage of the competition.
