The Saints’ losing streak in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) is yet to come to an end after facing another defeat yesterday in the Namboole derby against Sports Club Victoria University (SC VU). The Learners condemned the league debutants to their 7th defeat of the season in a game that ended 2 – 1.

Farouk Kawooya and Charles Semanda were on the score sheet in the first and second half respectively for Victoria University while Malijani Fadili picked up the Saint’s only consolation of the day.

The Saints have only managed one victory this season that came during their trip to Lugazi against URA FC (1-0) plus two draws that have left them bottom of the 16-team log with just five points from 10 games.

Meanwhile, SC VU moved to 10th place on the table with 13 points from a similar number of games.
