She is like a candle that has stayed up all night, but refused to melt off. Well, she had melted off. After her record hit Kambele Naawe, Sarah Zawedde was on a downward spiral.
The new skool folks don’t know who she is. She is largely unknown, but for some reason, she always has a new song; a new unknown song. Her new single Candle Yange is not a bad one. But clearly, it is evident that she has lost her spark. This is a complete shadow of Kambele Naawe. Though, you will give her credit for sticking around for quite some time.
Candle Yange sounds cliche, no doubt, but what the heck, the folks will love it for those love-ish lyrics. It is a song you won’t mind listening to, but it is a song that you will forget quickly. It is not special. It is not a hit. It is not a bad song. It is just plainly average.
