It’s not surprising that some artistes in Uganda hardly hold concerts or launch their music, most of them fearing being disappointed by fans. Zawedde explained why she never bothers to organize her shows at prominent places like Kyadondo, Afrikana or Kati Kati.

While chatting with a friend, Sarah Zawedde said that she can never imagine herself organizing a concert at prominent places because she fears crowds. Zawedde says she’s scared of facing big crowds, or worse people not turning up for her concert.

She pointed out a few of the artistes that have fallen victim to poor reception like Mega Dee and others who have organized shows at such places only to be welcomed by empty seats. Zawedde insists those places  should be left for big artistes like Chameleone, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool.

Zawedde has therefore opted for VIP concerts where her expectations are not so high as she only assumes the concert will only bring together her friends and family and staunch supporters. Zawedde will hold a live concert come 29th November at Silver Springs hotel,  Bugolobi.
