Soana Football Club head coach Omulangila Bamweyana Sam Ssimbwa has been linked with a possible return to Express Football Club.

The reports emerged shortly after the sacking of long serving tactician Wasswa Bbosa, who part ways with the Red Eagles after sharing spoils with four time league record champions Uganda Revenue Authority FC in a one-all draw on Tuesday evening.

Coach Bbosa’s sacking followed a winless streak of six matches in which the Wankulukuku based side managed four draws and two losses and with the club’s recent securing of a Ugx 305 million sponsorship deal with giant pay TV, DSTV Uganda, surely the expectations have risen.

If these reports materialize, Ssimbwa will be reunited with Express, a club he guided to their last league title in the 2011/2012 season.

The former KCCA assistant manager is no short of experience having served different clubs within the region i.e. SC Villa, SC Victoria University, Police FC (Rwanda) and the Somalia international team.
