If one can vividly recall a few months back, there was a marvelous show dubbed ‘Africa Laughs’ which featured several comedians from around the continent; the likes of Kenya’s Omondi, Basket Mouth from Lagos, Nigeria, Uganda’s Salvado, to mention but a few.
Well, its time to return the favour as Crackers’ Idringi Patrick Salvado is set to represent Uganda as a comedian in Lagos, Nigeria. This will be after his Tanzania show in Dar el salaam.
The father of one, one of the finest Comedians in Uganda who also doubles up as a radio Presenter at a local Kisementi-based radio station is set to perform in Eko Hotel and Suits Victoria Islands with other top Africa comedians from West, South and East Africa.
As if to confirm this, Salvado posted on one the social media platforms: “God always blesses the righteous, man can accuse u of being Selfish, Greedy, Corrupt, Unfair, Mean etc but only God knows the truth, for that I will always be forever grateful for his unending blessings. It’s gonna b an honor performing alongside Deray Davies aka Ray Ray and Tony Roberts next week in Lagos, what a moment that will be in my Career as a comedian, and as usual..I’m taking my A-Game… Dar es Salaam be ready for me this weekend I’m bringing Comedy from Ombokolo with love.”
This surely is putting the famous Ugandan comedian on an international platform for greater opportunities.
