Comedian Salavdo was left scared to death following his daughter’s traumatizing experience on Tuesday evening. According to Salavdo, his daughter returned home crying, only to learn she had inserted foreign body in her nostrils. She was then rushed to hospital in excruciating pain where doctors discovered she had a button battery in her nasal cavity.
Salavado narrated the ordeal in a Facebook post that read:
“I’ve never been this scared in my life, we’ve just gotten home after one of the most traumatising experiences I’ll ever Face, Life Link hospital tried to remove the Foreign Body (FB) but since Abby was fighting it made it hard, we were told to either comeback for the ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) Doctor tomorrow or try another hospital. Bechwiiiii we rush to my hospital Bugolobi Medical acentre and we are advised to have her sedated so that the FB can be removed.. Hooo at only 3yrs, sedating is the last option, but the girl was in pain.. So I gave the go ahead.. And one hour later.. This button battery (For watches) was discovered .. Ehhh my heart melted, was taken to the theatre and looked at Abby lying there … Eish .. Parents let’s never ignore our children’s cries especially when they come home from either playing or school. Abby came back crying and I thought it was her usual antics and I was like .. Hey.. Stop crying.. !! But she kept crying while saying my nose.. My nose .. The mum checked only to see some silver stuff inside.. I thought chic has gone gangster on me adding Bling in the nose Naye chaiiiii the way we rushed to the hospital.”
