Comedian Patrick Salvado Idringi was overwhelmed by the huge turn up at Africa Laughs show that was held at Kampala Serena hotel on Friday evening.
Salvado could not hide his delight as he revealed that he had been worried the show might flop.
“I removed tables and replaced them with chairs. When I counted 300 chairs, I began wondering if I had made a mistake. But now I can see the place is full.” He said, adding; “This is a testimony that God works in mysterious ways. I am overwhelmed. Thank you all for coming.”
The Africa Laughs show, now its 3rd edition, featured an all-star Africa cast that included Bovi from Nigeria, Eddie Kadi from Congo, Ndumiso Lindi from South Africa, Carl Joshua Ncube from Zimbabwe, Chipukeezy from Kenya and Arthur Nkusi from Rwanda.
The show was also graced by local comedians; Anne Kansiime, Pablo, Alex Muhangi, Mad Rat and Chico, Teacher Mpamire, Napoleone, and Ronnie Mcvex.
