SafeBoda now allowing customers to transfer money from wallet to bank or mobile money

The SafeBoda Wallet is one of the most common features of the SafeBoda Super App. Besides enabling you to use the App for more than just rides, you can use it to send and receive money, recharge airtime & data bundles, pay utility bills, shop online, or pay to friends/vendors..

And, now, you can also transfer money to other bank accounts or mobile money account. You can send money either to your own account from the SafeBoda Wallet or to a recipient’s bank or mobile money account, even if the recipient is not a SafeBoda App user.

To transfer money from SafeBoda Wallet to a Bank Account or mobile money account, open the SafeBoda App on your mobile and click on ‘Withdraw’ and select your preferred option between bank or mobile money. Then follow prompts.

SafeBoda now allowing customers to move money from wallet to bank or mobile money

At the moment, you can only transfer money from your SafeBoda Wallet to your Airtel Money account. It costs you only UGX 500 to complete the transaction.

While the bank options currently available are; KCB, Stanbic bank, Equity bank, ABSA bank, DFCU bank, and Centenary bank. The transaction charges are only UGX 1,000.
