SafeBoda is committed to providing a safe and reliable transport option for passengers and a fair deal for drivers in Kampala. To ensure that their platform is available to as many people as possible they have decided to implement a price reduction on all rides in June.

In the new half price promotion, more passengers will now be able to use the service more often, helping to transform and professionalize the two-wheel sector. Riders will not be affected and will continue to receive full payment as previously. Rider quality will not be compromised and they will still go through our rigorous training programme and be bound by our terms of conduct.

Passengers will be able to achieve even greater savings by using SafeBoda credit. For those who top-up their credit account via mobile money a further 20% discount will be available for every trip fare as well as the added convenience of a cashless experience.

Co-CEO, Ricky Rapa Thomson says, “SafeBoda’s mission is to make bodaboda transportation safer and more convenient for everyone therefore the price reduction will make it available to even more people while increasing business for our riders. It’s a win-win and we’re very excited about it”

Enjoy riding with SafeBoda.
