It has been said that man made money and money made money mad. From Fusion band to other city bands breaking up because of money issues, sad news coming in is that the sensational Solid band that has been popular playing for singer Jose Chameleone and several other musicians especially at their concerts and album launches is no more. The administrators couldn’t agree with the members on how to share money made from the band’s gigs.
A new band called Blessed band has been formed following accusations from members of the old band to management for pocketing most of their cash and giving them peanuts. Solid band leader Kabanda is to blame for the break up according to insiders.
It is said that Chameolne had already engaged the band to play at his expensive One Man One million show due at Serena Hotel at the end of the year.
“He will miss them, they really had grasped his instrumentals and knew how to play them just the way he likes them. I don’t know what he will do at his Serena show come December 19th,” said a music analyst.
