Uganda’s basketball fraternity is mourning following the loss of one of their own. A one Maria Berinda, who plays with KCCA leopards passed on last night.
According to reports, Berinda was found lying dead in her bed by her brother this morning.
“Its confirmed that Mariyah Belinda, a KCCA Player has been found dead today morning in her bed. The brother told me,” a close friend to the deceased confirmed the news.
The body has since been taken for a postmortem to ascertain the possible cause of her sudden demise.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
