The Uganda Premier League (UPL) and the FUFA Big League transfer window officially opened on 1st January and now clubs will exchange players that will suit their interests by the end of the campaign.

Rwenshama’s main man at the top of their striking line Julius Malingumu is being trailed by three UPL clubs following an impressive performance in the first round of the 2014/2015 season.

Among the three clubs are the 16-time record champions SC villa who are seeking for replacement for Karim Ndugwa who recently left the club to join Kenya based side AFC Leopards.

Others clubs on Malingumu’s heels are 2010 league champions and current UPL table leaders Vipers who intend to strengthen their squad in a bid to win some sliver wear at the end of the season and Kawempe based side Bright Stars who are also interested in the services of the striker.

The January transfer window for the UPL and FUFA Big League will close on the 31st of January 2015.
