It’s so unfortunate for our Ugandan Jas Mangat who failed to emerge a victor at the Rwanda mountain gorilla rally that took place over the weekend. He dropped out of the race in the closing stages due to mechanical failure. This gave chance to Giancarlo Davite a Rwandan native to emerge a winner in the 3 day mountain gorilla rally that ended on Sunday.
However, Jas who revealed that he has still has high hopes of winning the Africa Rally Championship during the Madagascar rally.
“It’s unfortunate that we failed to finish the rally but I have that hope we can make it in Madagascar and this is our last chance to toss the dice in our favor,” explained Mangat.
But this still leaves Mangat in the first position with 83 points only two points above Jassy Singh from Zambia who lies in the third position.
