A recent survey by leading adult entertainment website, PornHub, has revealed that Rwandans are the biggest porn addicts in East Africa.
The survey showed quick insights into Rwanda’s porn consumption. Shocking insights revealed that there is a relatively high proportion of female viewers, which at 27% is a whole 3 percentage points above the 24% worldwide average. Porn Hub also noticed this same figure in countries like Spain and Finland. Interestingly, Rwanda also has the highest proportion of female politicians in the world, at an impressive 64%.
Rwanda also takes a lead when it comes to their average session duration. In their 2014 Year in Review, PornHub noted that on an international level, sessions tend to last around 9 minutes and 16 seconds. In Rwanda, visits span over 11 minutes, on average. The country follows suit with the likes of the United Kingdom and Mexico with regards to their least and most popular days for visiting the site, being Sunday and Friday respectively.
Rwanda is credited as being one of the cleanest countries in the world due to its mandatory community cleaning day which takes place on the last Saturday of every month. As such we thought that Saturdays would take more of a hit, but alas.
Among the top search terms in Rwanda, ‘black’ which coincides with ‘Ebony’ was the most viewed category in the land in the past one year. This means that Rwandans are more into black porn.
Worldwide, PornHub have found that the average age of a Pornhub user is 35 years. Rwanda’s is a little younger at 33 years of age, which is due to their higher proportions of millennial-aged users. Overall, users aged 18-34 account for about 60% of users worldwide but here that number climbs to 64%. Proportionally speaking, Rwanda also has a younger than average population which also contributes to these figures.
