Rwandan musicians have joined the Ugandan community to mourn fallen dancehall singer AK47 who passed away on Monday night on his way to Nsambya hospital following a fatal fall at Dejavu bar.

Speaking to Rwanda’s leading daily, The New Times, several Rwandan musicians expressed their grief at the loss of such promising young talent.

“It is a heartbreaking story for all of us and we send our condolences to the Mayanja family for the loss of their young, talented son. We join the family in mourning this untimely death.”–Knowless Butera

“He was the youngest from the talented family and I always believed that he was the most talented. It was just a matter of time before he could outshine his big brothers because of his potential.”—Uncle Austin

“I am terribly shocked. I didn’t know him personally but it is sad to lose someone with a great talent. It also makes us realise how short life can be. Our condolences to the bereaved family.”—Teta Diana

Meanwhile, Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz also passed on his condolences to the mayanja family saying; “May the Almighty God and His Angels keep your soul in Eternal Peace!”
