Former TPF contestant Ruth Matete has been the talk of town thanks to the outfit she wore during her performance at TPF closing gala on December 8.

Ruth’s outfit was deemed as inappropriate, especially being a worship leader in a local church. Ruth’s father, however, has spoken in favour of his daughter.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

Abel Amunga want Kenyans to give her a break. “I knew that her dress code would make people talk. I expected it. As a parent I do not advocate for it but that does not mean that I will join the rest of the world in condemning her. I’m all that she’s got; the only shoulder she can lean on,” the actor-cum-musician told Heads Up.

He further dismissed haters for using the dress code to question Ruth’s faith.

“Her dress code has nothing to do with her faith as long as it is okay with her conscience. That said, this is a learning process and she will overcome,” he said.
