Speke Resort Munyonyo and Ruparelia Group have been recognized for their contribution to the tourism industry, bagging three nominations in the Ekkula Pearl of Africa Tourism Awards and Exhibition.

Speke Resort Munyonyo was nominated for Best Service/Luxury Standard Hotel while Ruparelia Group was nominated for Best Supporting Corporate Company and Best Tourism Investor. You can vote for them here.

The award ceremony is slated for Friday, 12th February, 2016 at Hotel Africana.

Speke Resort Munyonyo, one of the best hotels in Uganda, is graded as a 4 star hotel. It offers the ultimate luxury accommodation and leisure facilities with the finest conference and business meetings. The hotel is situated in an idyllic setting in Munyonyo, 30 minutes away from Kampala City- and by the shores of Lake Victoria.

It has an Olympic size swimming pool, equestrian centre, 5 star restaurants, gymnasium and all the hotel sports facilities, making it ideal for leisure, business and getaways.

“Our hotel and business visitors have access to seamless meeting and conference services to ensure the highest levels of creativity, convenience and efficiency for every business need and event,” says Greg Petzer, the General Manager of Speke Resort Munyonyo.

He described the nomination as ‘a great honor’ and is confident that they will win the award because ‘the team has worked hard to maintain standards and excellence’. The hotel has received numerous awards in the past because of their good works in the hospitality industry.
