Runway Heat, a reality TV show about upcoming models and designers in the fashion industry in Uganda, has been premiered.
The first season of the show was premiered on Saturday, 31st December at a red carpet event that was held at The Establishment, attracting scores of fashion enthusiasts.
Guests were entertained by Band Cindy, Kojjo from Tusker Project fame 6, Byaxy, Essence models showcasing for Nina Mirembe and Glonix designs.
According to the host Flosha Shaka, the show will hold auditions across Uganda for models and designers to join the cast and represent their regions (West, North & East).
Judges on the show are Joram Muzira, Ms.Brenda Nanyonjo CEO Miss Uganda, Gaetano Kagwa, Anita Beryl and NTV Uganda’s gospel show host Carol Flower Ssali.
The winner will drive away in a brand new KIA from KIA Motors, which was on display at the premiere. The show will run for the next 4 months, airing every Saturday at 7:30pm on NTV Uganda.
Runway Heat is part of a wider youth empowerment platform by Royal Essence that started in 2013, hosting shows every last Sunday at Lido beach Entebbe and city party spots.
