The SOS Children’s Villages that take care of over 29,000 vulnerable children in Uganda was started in 1991 and has transformed the lives of over 100,000 children from their Kakira, Entebbe and Fortportal villages.

While handing over the items Olivier Gatera, the Country Manager Rubis Energy Uganda said that through celebrations like Christmas it is in the Rubis Energy culture to positively impact the community with cheer and items that will ease the lives of those being taken care of.

“It has always been more rewarding to give especially at a time when we need each other. The global pandemic was and still is a lesson to all of us. We have learnt to love and care for our neighbors. It is in this spirit that we have donated items compromising of a full set of cooking gas, grain food, and fuel for the villages’ ambulances among others.” He said.
