Events Manager Roy Taban of Implex Production Limited who had organized a boat cruise over the weekend is reportedly still counting his losses after the boat cruise flopped.
According to reports, the MV Kalangala boat that was meant to sail off at 11:00am was still at the prestigious Anderita beach by 2:00pm as very few people had turned up for the fun. It’s said that while at least 150 people were expected to be on scene by the time of sail, only 40 people showed up. To add salt to the wound, the sound system providers at the beach also refused to turn on their machines because they had allegedly not received full payment yet.
However, Roy Taban dismissed the reports as false. He said, “We hired a private speed Boat in the 1st place ! 2ndly it was a private VIP boat cruise with specific no. that all paid 350k including the artists lastly it has been the best VIP event ever.”
He further revealed that he’s organising another VIP boat cruise dubbed All white Good lyfe Boat Cruise Ft Radio & Weasel.
