Former NTV News anchor Rosemary Nankabirwa who lost the battle to cancer on Sunday will be laid to rest tomorrow, Wednesday, 14th April, 2015 at her ancestral home in Masaka.
Rosemary who had just been flown to Aga Khan hospital, Nairobi for further treatment suffered multiple organ failure before she was terminally pulled off life support.
Her body was flown back to the country on Monday evening and taken to the funeral home. A requiem service for the late will be held today at Christ the King church, and there will later be a vigil in Kanyanya before she is finally laid to rest on Wednesday at Kanoni, Bukunda towards Kyotera.
Meanwhile, we have been reliably informed that of the Ugx 110M collected during #HelpRosemary campaign, Ugx 50M will be channeled to a cancer cause. The rest of the money will then be used to pay hospital bills, costs incurred in transporting Rosemary to Nairobi, funeral home charges and burial arrangements.
