Ronnie Banton’s car was involved in an accident while he was allegedly drunk on the wheel. Despite the support he got from the Ugandan public for his Tonywa Novuga hit song which means don’t drink and drive, Ronnie went on to do the opposite.
He was involved in an accident when his UAH series car crushed while allegedly driving under the influence. He unfortunately knocked two kids who were coming from school. According to the a local tabloid, the children did not get any serious injuries. The musician was however forced out of the car, made to paid UGX 200,000 and sing a few songs before his release.
He begged the crowd to let him go after five songs. He was asked to refrain from drink driving and put more time into his music career.
