Renowned Ugandan singer Ronald Mayinja has revealed that his daughter Anna played a key role in inspiring their family’s move to the United Kingdom.
According to Mayinja, it all began when Anna asked him to take her to meet Pastor Robert Kayanja, the head of Miracle Center Church in Lubaga.
Mayinja admitted that arranging the meeting was a difficult task. “Even for me, it has always been hard to meet Pastor Kayanja,” he explained.
Despite the challenges, they finally got the chance to see the pastor.
Surprisingly, Anna asked her father not to be part of the private meeting with Pastor Kayanja. During their discussion, Anna shared her strong desire to live abroad in countries like Canada, the United States, or the UK.
Touched by her dreams, Pastor Kayanja joined Anna and her friends in prayer and fasting. According to Mayinja, the prayers were answered in a short time.
“A stranger from the church later gave me, my wife, and children UK visas,” Mayinja revealed.
He added that the offer included not just the visas but also free education, housing, and general wellbeing for his entire family.
Mayinja praised the experience as a blessing and a major turning point in their lives, all sparked by his daughter’s faith and determination.
