Ronald Mayinja, a popular singer and activist of the People Power pressure group seems to have gone of course. According to sources, Mayinja on 31st December last year visited the President and is said to have asked for 2billion shillings to start own party.
Mayinja is said to have received 600 million for the start and promised more in the long run.
Mayinja recently started his pressure group “Peace for all and All for peace” contrary to his early dedication to People Power.
While he maintains he still struggles together with People Power, forming his own group weakens the People Power movement and this could precisely be his intension.
