Golden production singer Ronald Mayinja has staged a mega concert for his fans at Theatre La Bonita.
The concert dubbed “The Best of Ronald Mayinja” was themed around fighting corruption and he also used the opportunity to preach fairness.
When his time to shine came, Ronald excited his fans with his theatrical performance of his song Tuwalana Nguzi. He played the part of a leader of a disgruntled group of youth who had been dragged to court for rioting. Abby Mukiibi’s outstanding acting also brought out the wow factor in the act.
Mayinja sang some of his fans’ favorite songs both old and new. He sang; Africa, Tuli Kubunkenke, Sente Y’ekibi and Obasinga among others.
As always, Mayinja was not alone in this venture. Fellow musicians including; Catherine Kusasira, Stecia Mayanja, Mesach Ssemakula among others were at hand to support him.
Mayinja was praised by his old time friend and fellow singer, Mesach Semakula for being courageous and a very honest man. “He speaks nothing but the truth and he is very honest,” he said.
The show ended with Ronald thanking all his fans for the support.
