Things just don’t seem to be going right for Robin Thicke at the moment.
The 37-year-old star, who recently admitted he lied about writing his hit song Blurred Lines and was in fact “high on Vicodin and alcohol” when Pharrell Williams penned it, was left stranded in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last week.
Robin, who was on holiday with his son Julian, four, and his nanny, became stranded when Hurricane Odile battered the seaside resort.
The trio were among 30,000 tourists who were caught up in the storm on Sunday night, according to gossip website TMZ.
The hitmaker and other passengers, who had been kept in a secure facility as they waited out the storm, reportedly headed to the airport straight after “to get the hell out.”
But those stranded were left confused and unaware of what was happening and weren’t even told that the airport had reopened days later until they spotted military aircraft flying overhead.
Eventually Robin and his son boarded a plan with other tourists which took them to Mexico City and on to Los Angeles, where they arrived on Wednesday.
