Robin Thicke and wife Paula Patton have announced their separation.
The couple – who have been married for almost nine years – have said that their split was a mutual decision.
Patton told People: “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
The pair met in 1991, when Thicke was 14, and tied the knot in 2005.
The musician and the actress welcomed their son Julian Fuego in 2010.
Back in October, Thicke publicly discussed the couple’s sex life, claiming that Patton likes to listen to his music in the bedroom.
A month earlier, Patton defended her husband’s controversial MTV performance with Miley Cyrus.
She said: “Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don’t know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your… all my friends do it like that.
“And, I don’t really know what the big deal is.”
