Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) striker Robert Ssentongo yesterday scooped the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) top scorer’s boot after hitting a mark of 18 goals.

Ssentongo scored a braced on the final day of the league as his side imposed a very heavy tax on a relegated side of Sports Club Victoria University (SC VU).

In a game played at the Mehta stadium in Lugazi, the Tax Collectors thrashed their opponents by 6-1 with Ssentongo, Feni Ali and Kalanda Frank all scoring twice on the day to conclude what has been a bad season for them in style.

Ssentongo beat Vipers’ Erisa Sekisambu who completed the season with a tally of 16 goals even when some pundits argue that he scored 17, the likes of Express’ Tonny Odur, KCCA’s Caesar Samson Okhuti to win his fourth record league top scorers’ accolade.
