Roast and Rhyme

Roast and Rhyme is back and taking the enjoyments to Jinja with the ‘Nyam on the Nile’ edition, scheduled for 1st – 3rd July.

Organised by Swangz Avenue and Bell Lager, the upcoming event will see guests get together by the River Nile in Jinja for a chill weekend of fun outdoor group activities and games, karaoke and live music, and roasted meat washed down with cold beer.

Speaking about the event, Matilda Babuleka, Bell Lager’s Brand Manager, said, “Bell Lager exists to let the good times flow and is the perfect companion as long as you have the right vibe, your crew, some muchomo. This edition of Roast and Rhyme delivers exactly that with the added spice that is a road trip experience to one of Uganda’s most beautiful physical features – the River Nile.”

This is the second time that Roast and Rhyme is going on the road, following the “Wild Roast and Rhyme” edition, which took lovers of enjoyments to Murchison Falls National Park in North-western Uganda, and featured the “The BonFyre Friday” on day 1 – an evening of spoken word poetry and Hip Hop, followed by a four-hour game drive through the beautiful savannah grasslands of the park on day 2, which saw attendees take in the beautiful savannah grasslands and different species of wildlife that Uganda is famous for.

Babuleka added, ”We are proud to facilitate these and similar experiences, which provide opportunities for our consumers to savour and appreciate the good times they share with those that they are close to.”

Early bird tickets to this edition cost UGX 150k for all-weekend access.
