The 3rd annual Rising Star Awards are scheduled to take place today at Imperial Royale hotel in Kampala.
The awards sponsored by Nile Gold will recognize several rising stars in the Ugandan entertainment industry.
According to one of the organizers, everything is set for the big night and several artistes will walk away with accolades for their outstanding work.
Rising Star Awards (RSA) were founded in 2010 with the principal purpose of providing benchmarks for excellence in different sectors in the Pearl of Africa.
