Gospel songstress Solome Basuuta made an grand entry into the industry with her Nz’ani song which became a favorite on Christian radio. This was followed by an album release.
Songs like Disney topped Christian Radio charts in Uganda. 2015 was too kind to Solome Basuuta. She made many appearances at shows.
It seems at the beginning of 2016 she out to popularise music from her album. We believe this is true because the singer is set to premiere her first music video at NTV The Beat with Douglas Lwanga on 9th February. It will be a Tuesday.
Solome Basuuta says, “This shoot took 2 days. It was an adventure – running from one venue to another. I Learnt to still deliver on the love story even though our acting was something interesting. I learned to keep calm even when things around the shoot seem crazy. The dress code changed quite a number of times and that was an experience.”
Ahead of the premiere, she has released a YouTube teaser for the upcoming video in which she expresses her excitement to be acting again. She said, “I like telling stories and so through this video you will see the story behind this song beautifully brought out. I love the simplicity of this video and the beautiful surprises that make you believe in His (God’s) love again.”
