Rising musician, Dreventy has released his debut EP titled ‘Blue Detail’.

Dreventy unveiled the EP on social media where he revealed that the project had been five years in the making.

“Been 5 years of love, labor, craziness, Blood, sweat, tears & here we are. My precious baby #BlueDetailTheEP has been birthed!” He wrote online, adding that, “this EP is my truth & my reality. Happy to finally share it with the world.”

The 5-Track extended play bares no feature and carries tracks; Check On Me, Going Nowhere, I Love The Dark, Hopeless and Grand Pa.

Real name Derrick Talemwa, he debuted onto the music scene in 2018 doing song covers including Black Panther soundtrack “Pray For Me” by The Weeknd & Kendrick Lamar, and Sam Smith’s ‘Too Good At Goodbyes”, among others. His cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect” earned him recognition as one of Soundcity’s 11 Underground Talented Rising Stars To Hear.

He also came second in the Penda singing contest in 2019. In the same year, he released his first ever single, “I Won’t Forget”, “Promises” in 2020, and “5 Ways” last year.
