UBC’s Senior Sengendo has passed on.
Today, 12th May 2018, the media fraternity has lost Mr. George Sengendo who was a colleague to many,a friend, a father as well as the Manager Star TV. George passed on peacefully after a short illness.
‘Together, we pray for him and the family he has left behind. Mr. Sengendo was a pillar of UBC and a humble manager, loved by his Star TV team and all of us at UBC,’ reads a message from UBC TV.
He was described as friends and workmates as a calm, intelligent and welcoming man.
Messages eulogizing him have started coming in.
Horizon Vibe’s Calvin Da Entertainer had this to say.
Rest in Peace comrade,very calm, knowledgeable, passionate about film and production, one senior person who would never pass my office(a junior) without saying hello, you always preferred to be called muzukulu,am lucky to have learnt a few things from you,till we meet again. UBC has lost an asset.
