It’s hardly a secret that Rihanna likes to smoke marijuana.
And in the early hours of Tuesday morning she was lighting up yet again.
This time the pop star shared a suspicious looking home rolled cigarette with fellow smoker Snoop Dogg.
‘Chiefin wit a chief!!’ she wrote – chiefing is a slang term for someone who is smoking a lot of marijuana.
Like Rihanna, Snoop Dogg is a well known user of marijuana.
The two puffed away, blowing out long plumes of white smoke.
Between their fingers were clasped matching home rolled cigarettes, in what looked to be a liquorice paper.
Rihanna also held a plastic cup of cocktail, as she sat beside her fellow music star outside a party.
Smoking marijuana has become part of her image for Rihanna.
Indeed her close friend Katy Perry told Elle Canada of the 25-year-old: ‘I think that Rihanna always looks so fresh and I’m like, “How do you do that?
‘”We all know how much pot you smoke! And you don’t sleep because you’re on Instagram at four o’clock in the morning!”‘
And Rihanna certainly makes little effort to hide her drug use.
The Barbadian singer has posted myriad Instagram shots of herself smoking the drug, even dressed up it’s bride for Halloween 2012, and has positioned herself as something of an advocate for the banned substance.
The marijuana leaf forms one of her favourite clothing icons, seen on everything from her bags to her T-shirts.
And while she has upset some for her glamorisation of drug use, Rihanna has also been told to limit her use of the substance to ensure she is able to cope with the demands of her career.
After bowing out of the Boston and Baltimore legs of her epic seven-month Diamonds tour back in March, doctors were said to have expressed concerns about the effect her party lifestyle would have on her health.
She has also angered fans by repeatedly being late to the stage.
