Rickman Manrick has revealed plans to officially retire from active music in 2028.

In an interview wi, the artist shared that he will mark the end of his music journey with a grand concert celebrating a decade in the industry.
“I’m going to retire from music in 2028, with a concert celebrating 10 years of Rickman. It will be my first and last show,” Rickman said.
The concert, which he says will be both his debut and final live performance, will be a culmination of his career that started with his breakout hit Ebango.
Reflecting on his growth, Rickman noted how much his music has evolved over the years.
“When I recorded Ebango, I was just starting, and I loved the experience. Now, I am doing music that will last generations,” he said.
Rickman also shared that he no longer feels pressure to release music for commercial gain, having established other business ventures that support him financially.
For him, music has now become more of a passion and legacy than a hustle.
As fans begin counting down to 2028, Rickman’s announcement marks a bittersweet moment for many who have followed his journey.
