Ugandan singer Rickman Manrick, whose real name is Derrick Ddungu, has parted ways with SG Music and PR management.
The news was shared via Rickman’s social media accounts, marking the end of nearly two years of collaboration.
“To my supporters, friends, and family, I would like to inform you that as of Monday, May 20th, I will be parting ways with SG Music and PR management,” Rickman stated.
The singer, known for his hit song “Swiriri,” expressed gratitude towards SG Music for their support and efforts in advancing his music career. “I would like to take this moment to thank my previous management for the opportunity, for believing in me, and pushing my craft. It has been a pleasure working alongside them for the past two years,” he added.
Looking ahead, Rickman revealed that his future bookings and music endeavors will be managed by his own label, Trent Music International. “Moving forward, I will be represented by my team at Trent Music International as I look forward to this new chapter and can’t wait to see what the future brings,” Rickman shared.
This development follows shortly after Sheilah Gashumba, head of SG Music and PR management, confirmed her breakup with Rickman after three years of a dedicated relationship.
